Rain and Warm…
Today’s forecast is 50 with rain, tomorrow in the 40’s, unless something drastic comes through I think we have seen the end of the season. I do want to thank everyone who stayed at the Great Northern this winter and those that visited the Wolf’s Den. We continue to meet new groups of people every year and of course we have those that have supported us over the years. The friendships formed through snowmobiling are as important to us as the business we operate. Thank you to everyone for another year of great memories! If the big snow storm arrives in March you will hear it here first.
Thank you again,
Eric Behnke & Staff
Late Season Conditions…
Trail Report
Conditions Fair to Poor
Date March 2
Overall temps have stayed cold and most of the trails have froze back up solid. We did have a sunny couple days early part of the week and lost a lot of the snow we gained last week. Bottom line if you want to ride on fair trails come on up, if you are going to complain about some bare spots in town and blacktop showing on the crossings then stay home. Sunday and Monday show very warm weather as the rollercoaster winter continues. The Flowsge is no longer markers, but if you know your way the riding is good. Hurley is back out grooming and clubs to the South are also reporting fair conditions.
