Condtions: Early Season
Mercer Area Sno-Goers Trail System will open Thursday at 8:00 a.m. Currently the club has been rolling most trails but unable to drag at this time. Overnight we had another 4″ of snow and snowfall will continue into tomorrow. All trails are passable with some trails being reported as good condition, with the exception of Trail 12 to Swamp Creek which will remain closed. Expect early season riding conditions, watch out for tree limbs, some down trees, and possible rocks. At this time we do not recommend riding on any lakes. This time of year conditions change fast with snowfall and club operations, stay tuned for trail updates. Safe Riding and enjoy the season! Condition: Trails Closed
Winter is here!!! Temperatures will remain in the teens which definitely helps with the trails. Trails will NOT be open this weekend, there are still areas of water. The club will continue to work on rolling the trails so that the trails freeze. Please continue to remain patient. Rooms are filling up fast for the week of Christmas and most weekends this winter. The winter season seems far away, but we are potentiality just over two months away from sledding. The Mercer Sno-Goers club is already working to get ready for the season and they should be receiving their new light weight groomer next month. They are always looking for volunteers for events, please reach out them before you get to town and see if you could help make the best trails better

“Wedding Fun in the Northwoods”
Loved the Great Northerner. My cousin got married in the back and the staff was awesome and making the stay personal. Bar was a lot of fun and breakfast did the trick. Would recommend 2nd floor for vehicle noise.
We had to stay here due to sell outs further north but were not disappointed. The rooms were big and clean. The hotel has a beautiful sitting area with Wi fi. The hotel is right on the ATV/Snowmobile Trail.

Good price, very large, nice room. I would stay here again. The area has lots to see and do. This facility has everything needed for large or small groups. The staff was friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay and have nothing bad to say about this place. I recommend it.
